thinkaboutyoureyes.com The giant eyeball is my best friend! For the past two weeks we’ve introduced you to the Think About Your Eyes campaign. By now we hope you’ve at least thought of finding an eye car provider and getting an eye exam done. From some quick searching around the web, it’s estimated there are over 100 diseases that can affect your eyes and the majority of them are preventable if you see an eye doctor. Doesn’t that sound like something you should do? It’s estimated that 62 million people are at risk for vision loss and half of those people did not have an eye exam last year. And from a recent study, less than 50% of Americans get eye exams more frequently than every two years. Think About Your Eyes wants to increase awareness about vision health and the importance of yearly eye exams. There’s no product for them to sell, they just want you to think about your eyes! We’re glad to have these Think About Your Eyes Thursdays in conjunction with their TV and radio ads, a dedicated website, public relations events, social media and outreach to eye care providers. It’s great to see a national campaign using our t-shirt wearing services to help spread the message and knowing the IWYS community is helping out too. Get out there and Think About Your Eyes!
