The letters are projected to allocate HD. High definition is not, what are these so they can not call, you know, plastic, orange gradient lenses.

You have a good pair of wraparound sunglasses. <, Br />
I did it on a cloudy day, and they were all yellow. This is good. I am sensitive to light and I do not think I'd be able to use the sun. I have smoked or green lentils. I fell for HD.

In the box is that it is "the clarity and color." Of course, if the color is yellow.

My glasses are too large to be covered by these lenses. I do not blame them, I could not know that image.

Please be careful AS-seen-on-TV hype. because that is what it is. CSI is on TV, but it does not make me want to do their job! Decom'p? Ewww!

Oh, and thanks for the "instructions on how to clean glasses. For duh?Rating: 5.3

This is for my husband, who can no longer wear contact lenses, it must wear glasses. They are cheap and very good. They do the work, and you can not find in stores. You can find / order glasses for about similar 5-10 times the price - no better, and (in my opinion the man), these sunglasses at low prices are the best. Very lite. Very strong vision. Very comfortable and stylish (you do not look like you wear glasses medical / elderly).Rating: 5.5

3 stars. Purchased at a local store impulse buying. I liked the view through the increased contrast of the orange / yellow lentils, which are graduating with a dark brown stripe tinted up. I want to keep them, but they will be back, because the frame is simply too big for me. I wear mostly built environment surrounding the "other" brands, but the frame is sitting a little too wide and long. The quality is so-so, just average with a hard glossy plastic. . . do not know how scratch resistant lenses. Although to reduce glare and high contrast of the yellow color is nice, I think that advertising on television is certainly the abuse of "HD" moniker. Guarantees, try before you buy.Rating: 5.3

I wear glasses full time, so that my sunglasses are limited options. My glasses arrived today with a magnetic clip-ons, but I had many problems with them. I am very satisfied with them. . . The only problem I see with them is that the hinges are very tight on the arms. I am waiting for their support. . . or loosen. You do not know what will happen first. My husband is of the order of a couple, because they actually block the sun on the top and sides. Perfect for convertibles.Rating: 5.4

Weil begins by telling us that we do not have a health system, but terribly dysfunctional system of disease management, with the highest percentage of uninsured citizens in a democratic society. Premiums average American family does not exceed gross annual income of full-time workers at minimum wage. The costs of treatment are now the leading cause of bankruptcy. But almost every measure of health consequences we are near the bottom compared to other developed countries. Accordingly, we beginning to look to see a trend of outsourcing to other countries.

"Why our health topics" tells the story of change both as personal health health and economic way health care is delivered in America can be improved. Dr. Weil goals in writing this book: 1) changing the direction of disease management to prevention and health promotion. 2) Reduce dependence on expensive technology.

Dr. Weil is very negative effect on health care for profit and the relatively new phenomenon, but approves expansion of coverage of Medicare for all patients in the U.S. He thinks he can achieve more cost savings, we will focus a restriction of the use of expensive diagnostic and therapeutic methods that are more serious cases where these are clearly marked and held on nutrition and behavior change for the rest.

For example, a large randomized clinical trial (RCT) provides that angioplasty and stents do not significantly extend life or prevent heart attacks even in stable patients (for example, in most patients, they receive). Conversely, studies by Dr. Dean Ornish, that people with severe coronary artery disease in a position to stop or turn back, they have been through changes in lifestyle intense, without medications or surgery. In a second demonstration project, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, this lifestyle reduced overall costs comprehensive health care for those with coronary heart disease by 50% after only one year and another 20-30% in years two and three compared with a matched control group.

; Not only are these more expensive technological approaches, but also risky and sometimes harmful to patients. (Dr. Weil also suggests that unless it affects a part of the problem - malpractice reform legislation could lead to reductions of up to 10%.) Fees seductive advertising (including drugs) is also the problem. Dr. Weil points out that New Zealand is the only other country where this is permitted.

Much of Medical Research is unnecessary - for example. Search for new blood pressure drugs that are not as good as the current (less profitable) generics. Dr. Weil also firmly believe that we "overstated Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) - the human body is too complex to be studied by randomized clinical trials (RCTs), the "gold standard" of medicine. Personally, I can not accept the author's conclusion in this case - for example. insufficient RCT term Vioxx drug companies helped to get approval from the FDA, while the larger and better RCT led to its withdrawal.

"Too many doctors is another concern of the author. (Radiology earn up to $ 900,000 + GP vs s to $ 175,000. I thought that some hospitals outsource the reading of X-rays, etc. motivated and have blocked the development of software to interpret the results.) Radical new treatments for coronary arteries, etc. tend to improve the motivation of a decline in personal habits, use of these new therapies is also much more profitable for doctors, who often lack training in nutrition and behavior modification therapies. Specifically, increasing obesity (in combination with conditions at least 30 diseases, although most patients are not its severity) is probably the biggest problem, doctors, patients and our healthcare system is facing.

Bottom Line: The current rates of cost growth is to consume health care third of GDP in ten years. (China is now around 5%.) Huge savings are possible. major health problem in America is a chronic degenerative diseases (cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, prostate cancer and obesity) - a 75% share of the expenses. Again, Dr. Ornish's writings reinforce Dr. Weil: A recent European study has shown (8/10-24/2009 Archives of Internal Medicine) found that 23,000 people in four simple subscription practices (not smoking, the exercise three to five hours to take one week, a healthy diet with fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and low consumption of meat and a healthy weight), only 93 percent diabetics, 81 percent of heart attacks, 50 percent of strokes and 36 percent of all cancers could be avoided. In addition, there are significant savings possible treatment, Dr. Weil, Medicare and studies found that some items of expenditure are 2X that of the other, with no significant difference in the results.
Rating: 5.5

This book is timely and essential as you will ever read.

Andrew Weil has a proper diagnosis and adequate remedy for what America is missing - it helps you understand why so many health problems and crippling costs of care health have, despite the myth that America is number one in health care.
Dr. Andrew Weil not mince words, he followed in the reform of health care fray with "radical" perspective: "Most commentators believe that the fundamental problems are (a) that access to more than those of the current system and the type (b) how to pay. I disagree. "Appeared in recent weeks because CNN has written articles (Google for it), and now has published a new book, why are our health issues: a vision of medicine can transform our future, urged a change fundamental "high tech" to "High-Touch. He makes a convincing case that our dependence on acceleration have expensive medical technology and medicine has contributed greatly to the ball costs of health care: 70 to page book he lists in 1950, the cost of care in the U.S. $ 8,000,000,000 in 1980 cost 212 billion $ 2,009, and $ 2. 5 trillion (with a T). It also estimates the future costs in 2015 to $ 4,000,000,000,000 th Even adjusted for inflation and general economic factors, these increases are staggering one-sixth of the amount of current income (p. 123). Because, for this reason, " disease intervention of high-tech ... is not updated. "He wants to deal with less dependence on costly drugs, tests, physicians, specialists, hospital stays and greater emphasis on integrative medicine, the patient, not just isolated symptoms, but as whole persons. He wants the family doctor for a return. He wants doctors to take it personally takes long stories, listen attentively relate recommend dietary changes offer exercises to reduce stress on the practice Chinese medicine or chiropractic, etc. He says, if appropriate, honest and convincing, which is the continuation of high technology single
intolerable.
As a fervent supporter of the donor order universal health care only. He believes the federal government should play an active role in many aspects of health care. It therefore proposes a federal mandate requiring physicians to have at least one visit to one hour with a new patient. He also wants to see the government provide more health facilities, and it supports a national system of electronic health records with privacy guaranteed (even if it does not mention how they protect privacy) to be achieved. He wants a legislative ban on "direct to consumer advertising of prescription drugs." In fact, Weil said, "It is imperative that the pharmaceutical drug increased dramatically reform of regulatory oversight "and other pressures. He says can save malpractice reform "as much as 10%." It is also the fact that businesses profit health insurance and hospitals should be abolished hospitals should not profit, and private insurance should.

In general, because the details of why our health plan is focused and visionary qualities of great value both for ongoing health care debate in our heated countries. Sometimes, however, takes a seemingly contradictory views. He, for example, highly praised individual responsibility for personal health and reminds us that the costs of most Americans' medical out of pocket, rather than relying on Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, salary, etc. Its number is used in part, that unless we pay a share for a doctor visit, you can go on all of us when we had to be paid. But as I said, it also calls for universal health insurance with all beings, in essence, the government and he wants the health system, which could be relevant to develop. Such a universal system could invite individual responsibility as regards less costs of procedures and services. In a sense, these contradictions are an indicator of the complexity of the issues of health care. Although knowledge, MD is looking for experienced management plan for comprehensive reform, does not fit together. This can help remind everyone that there are no easy answers, and we should all say that everything that anyone on the issue of healthcare reform.

You do not agree with all the proposals of our health care WHY QUESTIONS find this an informative and important contribution to the debate. Because most courses are too much confidence in the abilities and powers of government and not enough capacity in the private sector flexibility in changing conditions. And we can say that its utopian goals (or are simply too far). But his rallying cry: "We have to pay more for failure" in our best health advice is heard.
